Two major Iowa High School records are within reach for sensational Pella Christian wide receiver Levi Jungling.

As the regular season finale approaches this Friday night, Jungling needs 299 yards to break the all-time receiving yardage mark and 8 visits to the end zone to break the all-time touchdown receiving record.

Jungling is averaging 96.3 yards and 1.75 touchdowns per game this season, but those numbers are skewed low because he played nearly two full games at quarterback in replacement of David Kacmarynski.

If he keeps up his current pace, he’d break the record for receiving yardage currently held by Pleasantville’s Grant McGraw in the state semifinals, and he’d sneak by the touchdown mark set last year by Chariton’s T.J. Hockenson if the Eagles reach the 1-A championship game.
