Riley Gray accounted for all five Central College touchdowns Saturday in Decorah as the Dutch football team finished the 2016 season with a 37-23 win over Luther.

The Dutch built a 30-7 lead early in the fourth quarter, but had to hold on as the Norse scored 16 unanswered points to make it a one score game with less than three minutes to play.

Gray then bolted for a 52-yard read-option run, followed by a 15-yard touchdown on the same play to seal it. Sam Norgaard picked off a Norse pass with less than 30 seconds left to make it official.

Gray was 18-of-30 for 166 passing yards and three touchdowns, and ran for a career high 162 yards and two scores. Sam Markham caught 12 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown, his 12th of the year, which ties a school record.

Central finishes the season 8-2 overall and 6-2 overall in the Iowa Conference, tied for second with Dubuque behind league champ Coe.
