The Central College women’s soccer teams plays at Luther tonight at seven o’clock in the Iowa Conference tournament semifinals.

The Dutch finished third in the regular season, and knocked off Nebraska Wesleyan 1-0 in double overtime Saturday. The Norse tied for the regular season title and are seeded second.

In other Central women’s soccer news – the Dutch returned to the regional rankings, as they are ninth in the poll released yesterday. Luther is fourth, Loras is sixth and Wartburg is 10th.

Central also snagged both the Iowa Conference offensive and defensive player of the week awards. Midfielder Kayla Sunvold was selected offensively, while goalkeeper Sydney Lunardi was picked on defense.
