Over the last few seasons, the Pleasantville Trojan Girls Basketball Team hasn’t had the record that they wanted, but one thing the Trojans have not lacked is positivity around the program.

The squad is returning a lot of talent at the guard positions with leading scorer Kelsee Van Haalen coming back alongside Corinne Thomas and Madyson Thill, but more importantly the team is continuing to grow under Head Coach Aaron Fichter.

Coach Fichter told KNIA/KRLS Sports, that the team doesn’t have any specific goals to accomplish this season, but rather to continue to build the program up to be able to compete with the traditional Pride of Iowa Conference Powers. The Trojans start their season off next Tuesday hosting Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.
