The job of improving the Knoxville Football Program’s fortunes started shortly after the Panthers wrapped up their season in October. The Coaching staff had meetings with the returning players especially juniors who will be the senior leaders next season and stressed leadership and trying to get more players out for 2017. Coach Eric Kellar tells KNIA/KRLS they have also told the players to continue playing other sports to be competitive. Kellar says the juniors have already show they are committed to next season and improving from a 1-8 season this year.
