With 52 players out this season for the Knoxville Football Program from freshman to senior is not considered good numbers, the Panthers had to go with what they had. The coaching staff hopes the number improve for next season so less players have to go both offense and defense. However, Head Coach Eric Kellar sees numbers low again for 2017, and he had already told his players coming back next season to prepare to play both offense and defense next season. Kellar adds to get in better physical condition, is to hit the weight room, and go out for other sports. The Panthers went 1-8 this past season.
