An Ottumwa man received seven years in prison for stealing a credit card and using it to make purchases over a year ago.

Justin Jordan, 29, pled guilty to two counts of forgery, class D felonies, and five counts of unauthorized use of a credit card. Nine other counts of unauthorized use were dismissed. According to police, Jordan stole a debit card from a reportedly stolen vehicle. He’s accused of using the account to make unauthorized purchases throughout in November 2015. As part of the investigation, Pella Police sent surveillance video to the Ottumwa PD, where an officer identified the suspect as Jordan.
