The PCM Mustangs might not have made it to the dome this week but the 2016 football season was another positive season for the PCM program.

Only two Mustang teams have ever made it to the dome in the programs history so to be on the doorstep of joining those 2005 and 2006 teams shows just how good this 2016 Mustang squad was. With all the success this year, only 15 Seniors will be lost to graduation in May and the 2017 Mustangs should be primed with plenty of returning play makers. Sophomore Wes Cummings had a break out year in 2016 and will go into his Junior year looking to out do himself from this year. Lined up next to Cummings, Reed Worth will be going into his Senior year next fall with the assumption of taking over the offenses at quarterback. It wont be an easy task replacing Senior Sheldon Speers but with plenty of mop up duty performances this fall Worth was able to get quality reps and showed tremendous knowledge of the offense. The biggest question mark going into 2017 will be the offense and defensive lines where not just the loss of experience will hurt but also the loss of size as the big man Senior James Snodgrass will not be there to clog up holes next fall. Head Coach Greg Bonnett is confident in his returning starters and play makers and knows his tea will be ready to get after it, come next fall. The Mustangs will only lose 15 Seniors from a team of 57 total players.
