Pella Cooperative Electric held a special unveiling of a solar field built on Fifield Road.

The organization showcased their Zon Veld solar array with an event yesterday.

Terry Fett with Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) says the Zon Veld will provide power to many within their organization. U.S. Representative Dave Loebsack was in attendance for the special unveiling.

The project is being completed among five distribution cooperatives working with the CIPCO.
