Emily Holterhaus and Kiki Pingel were named to the Iowa Girls Coaches Association’s class 4-A volleyball team this week.

Holterhaus, a sophomore, was named to the first team, while the senior Pingel was selected for the second team.

Holterhaus was a hitting machine, racking up 444 kills on the season with a .317 efficiency. She was also the team leader with 98 blocks and 55 aces.

Pingel set up most of the Pella attack, dishing out 964 assists.

The Lady Dutch, who were ranked number one much of the year in class 4-A, finished the season with a 38-5 record and were runner-up at the state tournament for the first time in school history.
