Twin Cedars could not overcome five turnovers, four in the second half as the Sabers fell to Midland last night in the eight-man quarterfinals 42-22 as heard live on kniakrls.com. The Sabers then took the lead on the ensuing free kick when Trace Embray raced 65 yards for the touchdown for his sixth touchdown via a punt or kickoff return in 2016. Both team traded scores for the rest of the half with Twin Cedars leading 22-20. The second half belonged to the Midland as the Eagles outscored the Sabers 22-0 in the second half.
