Two Lady Dutch athletes will stay in sports when they move on to college next fall.

Pella basketball player Kiara Bradley and Lady Dutch track hurdler Emma Thoreson both signed their letters of intent at a special event yesterday at Pella High School.

Bradley, the starting forward for Pella, will continue her hoops career at the University of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and tells KNIA/KRLS Sports she wants to stay competing in sports as long as she can.

Thoreson, a state hurdling champion on the 2016 4×100 shuttle hurdle relay team and multiple-time qualifier will continue to race on the famed blue oval as a Drake Bulldog.

Bradley will start her basketball season Tuesday at Mount Pleasant, Thoreson will continue to focus on her track career this spring.
