After an offseason of stressing getting better from beyond the arc, the Pleasantville Boys Basketball team took advantage of the zone defense played by the Melcher-Dallas Saints to the tune of eight triples made.

Gauge Van Haalen was the leader for the Trojans make four, which is a huge upgrade for the junior who shot 4/32 his entire season as a sophomore. Brady Elder made three, which is no surprise for the senior as he shot 34% from long range last season.

Pleasantville Head Coach Joel Allman told KNIA/KRLS Sports that a good inside/out game made for some easy shots. The 1-0 Trojans will travel to Central Decatur this Friday night.
