The Central College men’s basketball team built an 18 points halftime lead and cruised to an 86-77 win Saturday afternoon at home against Wisconsin-Platteville.

The Dutch led the entire game, and used an 11-0 run late in the first half to take control. Platteville never got closer than nine the rest of the way.

Colby Taylor had a monster game for Central, pouring in 34 points on 11-of-16 shooting, including 6-of-10 from the three point line. He also grabbed 15 rebounds, dished out three assists and collected a pair of steals.

Pete Walker (15), Malik Wildermuth (13) and Kyle Smith (11) were also in double figures for the Dutch, who improve to 5-1 on the season.
