A Knoxville woman who was charged with burglary in the second degree after a home break in and theft has pled to a lesser charge for a suspended sentence and probation.
On August 15, Samantha Joann Iddings reportedly kicked in the locked door of a home and stole Christmas presents and medication belonging to a female victim who was home at the time. The victim told officers there was a struggle over the medication and then Iddings left as the victim called 911. Yesterday morning, Iddings pled to burglary in the third degree, a class D felony, and received a suspended sentence of 5 years and 3 years of probation.
