The Knoxville City Council was unable to reach a quorum on Monday night.
The council was going to approve a Tourism Advisory Commission request to change the Highway 5/92 Billboard and a 28E agreement for mutual assistance with Polk County Area Fire and Rescue, among other items, but only Councilman Craig Kelley and Rick Kingery were able to attend the meeting. Three council members are needed in order to hold a meeting. A special meeting will be held later this week to deal with city business.
