It is the home opener for the Knoxville Basketball Squads tonight. The Panthers host Clarke after falling Saturday to Oskaloosa. For the girls, last year’s Clarke games were not the blowouts fans have been used to seeing. Along with that the early returns from the South Central Conference are not surprising Coach Jim Uitermarkt. The boys are looking to resume winning after a tough four point loss in overtime to Oskaloosa on Saturday. Coach Jeff Larson tells KNIA/KRLS they did just about everything on Saturday to win. He adds he liked the effort the past two games against Bondurant-Farrar and Oskaloosa. Both games can be heard on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA starting at 6:15.
