The longest road trip for Knoxville in the South Central Conference is tonight as the Panthers head south to Bloomfield to take on Davis County. The girls are two-and-four right now and take on a Mustangs team that they swept last season. Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS he sees small steps from the team…and hopes that can continue. The boys can keep themselves at the top of the South Central Conference tonight with a win. Coach Jeff Larson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports while Davis County has struggled out of the gates this season…the Mustangs usually are very good at home in an older style gym that gets noisy when they go on a run. The Panthers played very well defensively against Chariton on Friday and Larson wants that to continue tonight. You can hear the call on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA and kniakrls.com with Derek Cardwell and John Keitges beginning at six-15.
