Coach John Suntken said it was a great team win ,and the Melcher-Dallas girls basketball squad defeated Iowa Christian 51-41. Emily Krpan exploded for 27 points and 12 rebounds and had four blocks while Lilly Bennett had eight rebounds and four steals. The Saints will go for two-in-a-row tonight at Orient-Macksburg. The Saints boys were not as fortunate as they fell to Iowa Christian 79-66. Sam Houston scored 13 points in the loss. Melcher-Dallas is 0-2, and will join the girls at Orient-Macksburg tonight.
