A loss to Nevada in their last game of 2016 did not dampen the spirits of the PCM Girls Basketball Team heading into the break; in fact it only bolstered their determination.

The senior laden team is 6-2, but over the winter break the team leaders went to Head Coach Jeff Lindsay and said that they want to be worked harder over the break to help get the team on track to compete at the top of the Heart of Iowa Conference. Coach Lindsay told KNIA/KRLS Sports that the seniors on the team know the stakes. The Mustangs will get back to action on Tuesday against South Hamilton.
