Pella’s boys knocked off Newton in bowling on Tuesday night, while the Lady Dutch were beaten by the Cardinals.

The Little Dutch evened their record at 2-2 with a 2,698 – 2,567 victory at Newton. Leading Pella was Reid Miller with a team high 243 game and 419 series. Christian Van Weelden set new personal bests with a 223 game and 386 series.

The Lady Dutch came up short, falling to Newton 2,006 – 1,748 to drop to 1-3 on the season. Kaia VanderWerf led Pella with a high game of 144 and a high series of 257.

The Pella bowling teams will return from the holiday break on January 7th against Knoxville.
