The Pella City Council accepted their annual audit and approved the first reading of an ordinance adding a three-way stop to the intersection of Elm and Hazel at their meeting last night.

Following regular business, the council held extensive discussion about an economic development agreement with Agile Manufacturing, a 3D printing company. They also heard a proposal from Central College to install additional pedestrian lights near the Kuyper Athletics Complex and reviewed proposals to remove parking and a weight limit placed on Washington Street east of downtown. Those items discussed at policy and planning will all come under formal city council consideration in the coming months.
