ARRESTS:

 On 12/18/16, Rian C. Phillips, 24, of Newton was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Phillips was incarcerated.

 On 12/19/16, Marcus D. Hall, 46, of Pella was charged with domestic abuse assault-impeding air flow. Hall was incarcerated.

 On 12/20/16, Jordan E. Star, 27, or Knoxville was charged with driving while suspended. Star was cited and released with a court date.

 On 12/21/16, a male juvenile of Pella was charged with sex abuse 2nd and assault with intent to commit sex abuse. The male juvenile was transported to the Marion County Jail.

 On 12/23/16, Joao R. Santos, 56, of Pella was charged with operating while intoxicated. Santos was incarcerated.

 On 12/23/16, Brennan A. Mejia, 23, of Pella was charged with operating while intoxicated-2nd offense and possession of a controlled substance. Mejia was incarcerated.
