Despite losing their last two Pride of Iowa Conference games to Martensdale-St. Mary’s and Interstate 35, the Pleasantville Trojan boys basketball team is still looking towards a conference championship.

The setbacks have nothing to do with one giant issue the team is facing, rather a bunch of small ones Head Coach Joel Allman tells KNIA/KRLS sports. He said that the holiday break that is upcoming for the team can be a good time for them to go back and watch some film to try and correct the issues, and hopefully give the guys some confidence once 2017 hits. The Trojans are 3-2 on the season, and will next play in 2017 against Central Decatur on January 3rd.
