Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at Pleasantville’s shelter house in Cora Shadle Park on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
After the kids have talked with Santa and had pictures taken, Mrs.Claus will be available to help them decorate a Christmas cookie. The all-ages event will see the shelter house decorated in Christmas style and guests can sip on hot chocolate and coffee provided by Smokey Row while listening to choirs from Church of Christ, Pleasantville Christian Church and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
Kim Friday, Treasurer of the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce says she hopes to see people of all ages enjoying cookies, music and a hot drink in the park. Chamber Director Don Dursky tells KNIA/KRLS News the plan is for Christmas in the Park to be an annual event bringing Christmas spirit to Pleasantville.
