The Pleasantville Trojan athletic programs will soon see some new opponents in the coming years as they exit the Pride of Iowa Conference and head to the West Central Conference for the 2018-19 school year.

Leaving behind some long road trips and fierce rivals in Southwest Iowa, the Trojans will reconnect with some historic rivals towards the Des Moines metro area including Madrid, Van Meter, and Panorama. The West Central Conference also includes Des Moines Christian, Earlham, Woodward Academy, Woodward-Granger, West Central Valley, Ogden, and ACGC.

Also exiting the Pride of Iowa and joining the West Central Conference is Interstate-35 High School, which will also join in the 2018-19 school year.
