After a brutal schedule in the early part of their Pride of Iowa Conference slate, the Pleasantville Trojan Girls Basketball Team has one area where they can improve upon to help them pick up some more wins, free throw shooting.

So far this season through six games, the Trojans are averaging just over seven shots from the charity stripe a game, and hitting only 45% with their opportunities. Kelsee Van Haalen leads the team in makes, attempts and percentage with a 17/24 mark good for 70%. Without Van Haalen’s production the Trojans are just 16/49, a paltry 33% so there is a lot of room for improvement. The 2017 portion of the schedule for Pleasantville will start against #5 Central Decatur on January 3rd.
