With a wealth of experience coming back this season at the guard position for the Pleasantville Trojan Girls Basketball team, there was a question as to where the points were going to come from inside the paint.

With some girls getting some of their first varsity experience some growing pains were to be expected, but some girls have been shining. Kaylie Thomas has been a pleasant surprise at 4.5 points per game, including a 10 point performance against top 10 ranked Interstate 35.

Other positionas are getting more varsity experience as well, junior guard Jessica Remster, who saw some time last season, was described by Head Coach Aaron Fichter as a player who gets in the game and gives everyone an immediate boost. The Trojans are 1-5, and have a rematch against Central Decatur to start 2017 on January 3rd.
