A narrow win against Southwest Valley and a loss to I-35 would lead to a double dual split for the Pleasantville Trojan wrestling team last night in Truro.

The Trojans won by a tiebreaker point to beat the Timberwolves 43-42, with the Trojans picking up wins from Alex and Drew Bartels at 126 and 132lbs respectively, Devon Flesher at 138, Cael Lester at 170, Evan Mann at 195, Chaz Clark at 220, and Will Anthony at heavyweight. The Trojans couldn’t find the same success against the Roadrunners, falling 51-21. The Trojans found success in the heavier weights, getting wins from Lester, Mann, Clark, and Anthony to score points, but I-35 would get victories in the lower weights to win. The Trojans take today off from competition, but hit the mats again tomorrow morning in a Pride of Iowa conference tournament at East Union.
