A big question for the Pleasantville Trojan Boys Basketball Team coming into the 2016-17 season was who was going to step up and get key rebounds for the Trojans.

Pleasantville lost leading rebounder Zeb Adreon to graduation, and second leading rebounder Mac Harken wasn’t expected to play this season due to injury, so the Trojan big man depth was an area of concern. Junior forward Kyle Amendt has stepped up this season grabbing 43 rebounds through five games, averaging over eight per contest.

Others contributing to the rebounding effort have been center Devon Dursky, junior Owen Worthington, as well as Harken who has returned for limited action and expects more playing time after the holiday break. The Trojans will resume play in the new year on January 3rd against Central Decatur.
