It was not the afternoon of basketball that Twin Cedars was looking for on Saturday. The girls fell behind early to Albia and lost 58-23. Foul trouble and shooting plus turnovers equaled missed opportunities for the Sabers. Coach Mark Bacus tells KNIA/KRLS Sports shooting is a struggle, but he is confident that and many other things will improve. Shelby DenBurger led with eight points. On the boys side, the Sabers also fell behind early and could never recover in a 57-20 loss. Jake Crozier led the Sabers with nine points. Both Twin Cedars teams travel to Murray on Tuesday.
