The Central College wrestling team steps out of the Iowa Conference and out of Division III tonight for a dual against their closest geographical competitor – William Penn.

Coach Eric Van Kley says they’ve built quite the following for their home matches at P.H. Kuyer Gymnasium, and he hopes that the fans will come out tonight to pack the house.

“I give my assistant Kevin Donahue just a ton of credit for that. That’s something that he’s really taken on, as far as walk-out music and lighting and the theatrics that we think is really fun and makes it an exciting environment to wrestle in. And I’ll give our fans a little teaser – there will be a little surprise tonight that you may want to come for that may put Central on the map a little bit.”

Tonight’s match against William Penn starts at 7:00 inside of Kuyper Gym.
