Bonus-point victories were the difference for Loras as they topped the Central College wrestling squad 24-18 Thursday night.

It’s the first defeat of the season for the 10th ranked Dutch, who drop to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the Iowa Conference.

Loras won two matches with pins and also had a technical fall victory, and the bonus points were the difference.

Next up for the Dutch is a tro of dual matches next Saturday at the conference duals hosted by the University of Dubuque. They will face the host Spartans, as well as Buena Vista and #1 Wartburg.
