Eddyville Woman Arrested for Possession of Meth in Knoxville

An Eddyville woman has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana with intent to deliver.

Jennifer Ann Solano was a passenger in a car pulled over by a Knoxville police officer around 3:30 a.m. Monday morning in the 1600 block of T-15. Before the car could be towed, officers conducted an inventory of the items inside. During the inventory a purse was discovered on the passenger side. Solano told officers the purse was not hers. After a search warrant was obtained for the purse officers found 14.7 grams of methamphetamine, 1.7 of hash oil and a photo ID belonging to Solano inside it. Solano was arrested and charged. Possession with intent to deliver is a class D felony.
