The Melcher-Dallas girls basketball Squad were unable to hold on for the final eight seconds as Iowa Christian got a three pointer at the buzzer to give the Saints a 35-34 loss. Coach John Suntken told KNIA/KRLS Sports the girls trailed 25-12 at the half and did a very good job of rallying. Gracie Mann gave The Saints the lead with eight seconds left but I-C-A hit the three to win. Suntken added free throw shooting was not where it needed to be at they were 8/30 from the line. The boys defeated I-C-A 60-47. Sam Houston had 20 points and Blaise Cooper got a double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds.
