Marion County has now been included in an ice storm warning that includes most of Central Iowa.

Most areas in the county have already received between .1″ and .25″ of ice, with another tenth of an inch possible, and the warning remains in effect until 6 p.m.

Roads remain hazardous, with most reportedly covered with ice, including almost all city streets, county roads, and state highways.

A snow plow went onto its side on Highway G28 near Highway 14 at approximately 5:30 a.m., and another tipped near Swan.
