As the calendar turns to 2017, the January stretch run will start for many of our local basketball teams. For the Knoxville Boys, things will get rather busy starting Tuesday with an important conference game against Centerville, followed by another home game with Albia and then next Saturday hosting Newton. Coach Jeff Larson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports both a conference championship and a deep postseason run in within his team’s reach. The Panthers are 5-1 and 4-0 in the South Central Conference.
