The Knoxville girl’s basketball Squad on Friday won a game in Centerville with one of their top scorers getting a single points. While Shaye Nichols was still not quite 100% with her ankle injury, she toughed it out and caused Centerville to respect the fact she was on the court, while everyone else took the scoring load. Coach Jim Uitermarkt told KNIA/KRLS Sports a lot of players scored because of Nichols’ presence on the court. The Panthers will play Eddvyille-Blakesburg on Tuesday at home.
