The Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad will embark on the second go around in the South Central Conference tonight starting with a home game against Albia. The Panthers are 5-0 in the conference and have a two game lead on second place Centerville and Chariton. The last time the Panthers and Blue Demons played, it was a rock fight that saw the Panthers scratch out a 48-41 victory. Coach Jeff Larson knows Albia will come in ready and he hopes to run a quicker pace against the Demons tonight. The girls see Albia as a team they can defeat and should have defeated in the team’s last go-around. Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his team is better, but knows Albia has also improved since their November 29th meeting. Listen for the play-by-play on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA and kniakrls.com with Derek Cardwell and John Keitges starting at six-15.
