The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.
The supervisors approved a funding agreement with the City of Pella for Old Highway 163 resurfacing from 240th Place to 250th Place. The county and the city will split the cost down the middle, costing them both about $144,000. Marion County Engineer Tyler Christian says he hopes to have the project completed by June. The board also appointed Alan Terpstra to the Zoning Commission and Danielle Huffin to the Board of Adjustment. They entered closed session at end of the meeting per Iowa Code.
