The PCM Mustangs got a pair of big wins Thursday night on their last stop of a five game road trip as they took on the Fairfield Trojans inside the Fairfield high school gym.

The PCM girls would upset the 14th ranked class 4A Trojans 55-54 and the boys would cruise 62-45. In the girls game the Mustangs would battle back from a seven point halftime deficit to cut it to just one at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Mustangs would go on to get the win and upset the 14th ranked Trojans behind 16 points from Regan Freland, 15 points from Kayla Jennings and 8 points from Katie VandeWall. The boys would cruise inside the Fairfield high school gym as they would go on to beat the Trojans 62-45. The Mustangs now move to 8-4 on the year and finish the five game road trip at 4-1 with the only loss coming to Pella. Both the girls’ and boys’ Mustang squads will turn right back around and hit the hardwood tonight inside the PCM high school gym as they take on conference foe CMB.
