The PCM Mustangs are finally back to basketball after a long winter break with a win on Tuesday against South Hamilton the girls got back to the win column after a tough loss right before the break to Nevada.

But the boys fell in a close match up and will look get their first win of 2017 this Friday against North Polk. The Mustangs will host North Polk this Friday before five straight game and two full weeks of games on the road. The Mustangs will start their five game road trip next Tuesday and will not play at home again till January 20th. The good news for the Mustangs is out of the five match ups on the road the Mustang girls have faced and beaten three of those teams in Greene County, Roland Story and Saydel. And the boys have wins against Roland Story and Saydel. The hardest match up of the five will come on January 14th when the Mustangs travel to Pella to take on the Little Dutch. If the Mustangs want to have any hope of achieving their conference championship goals, this five game stretch could be the stretch that defines those goals.
