A sluggish first half did not help the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad last night in Creston as the black and gold Panthers fell to the red and black Panthers 58-to-49. Knoxville trailed by as much as 18 points in the third quarter, but stormed back to get to within eight heading into the final quarter of play and got it to three points in the fourth, but could get no closer.

Katie Keitges scored 18 points to lead Knoxville and Shaye Nichols scored 12 points. Knoxville drops to 4-7 on the season and will be joined by the boy’s squad, who had last night off, at Clarke this Friday.
