The Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad makes the 85 mile journey west to play Creston tonight. The Knoxville Panthers like the Creston Panthers have struggled for consistency this season as Knoxville comes in at 4-6 after a 42-29 loss to Newton on Saturday while Creston fell to fellow Hawkeye Ten foe Red Oak also on Saturday, and now have a record of 3-7. Knoxville will go into the game just as it has all season looking to improve. One player Coach Jim Uitermarkt says have improved while getting a late start on the season is Kendrea Richardson. He adds her effort on Friday was one of the keys that helped Knoxville win. She grabbed ten rebounds to go along with eight points in Friday’s win over Albia. You can listen to the broadcast tonight on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA and kniakrls.com starting with the pre-game at 7:30.
