When the Pella Christian bowlers return to action this winter, they will look for hidden pins in the score line.

Head Coach Rod Blunck says closing out frames with a slash in the box is key to becoming more competitive in a tough conference.

“We’ve been stressing spare conversions. We’ve had a lot of kids that have mentioned a couple of times ‘I missed that spare’ and then they look at the scorecard and realize it could have helped them out a lot. They’re starting to catch on pretty good.”
