Pella Christian traveled to Norwalk Saturday night to make up a doubleheader against the Warriors that was cancelled in mid-December. The Eagles came home with a pair of victories.

In the girls game, Cailey Terpstra nailed a 3-pointer 10 seconds into the game, and the Eagles never looked back, winning 55-31.

Terpstra finished with 14 points, Kaley Wilson added 11, and Isabella Baugh chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds.

The Pella Christian boys rolled to a 72-59 victory behind 24 points and 11 rebounds from David Kacmarynski and 16 points from Levi Jungling. The win was the 600th in Larry Hessing’s entire high school coaching career. He has 408 with the Eagles, and previously led Dakota Christian in South Dakota and Central Christian in Minnesota.

P.C.’s girls are 7-3 on the season and 2-3 in the Little Hawkeye Conference, while the Eagle boys are 7-1 and 4-1. Up next for both clubs is a trip to Dallas Center-Grimes on Tuesday night.
