Pella Christian travels to Grimes tonight to take on DC-G in a girl / boy basketball doubleheader, and both games feature a pair of top 10 teams.

In the girls game, it’s class 2-A #8 Pella Christian against the class 4-A #9 Fillies. The Eagles are 6-3 overall, but have struggled against the larger schools in the Little Hawkeye Conference, where they’re only 1-3. DC-G’s story is the opposite – as they’re 6-5 overall, but 4-1 in league play.

The boys game is for first place in the conference. Pella Christian is 7-1 and now ranked in #1 in class 2-A. They sit at 4-1 in the LHC, tied for second with Pella, a half-game back of the class 3-A #4 Mustangs, who are 9-0 overall and 4-0 in conference.
