The Pella School Board has approved the sale of bonds to finish financing construction in the district.

Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the district is using sales tax revenue to spend the final $4.3 million for improvements at Pella High School and Jefferson Intermediate. Ebeling says they use sales tax as opposed to property taxes whenever possible after the state passed a sales tax penny used for infrastructure in public school districts.
