The Pella High wrestling team will hit the home mats for the first time this season tonight against Norwalk.

The Little Dutch were supposed to host the Bill Van Horn Invitational in mid-December, but that was cancelled due to severe weather. All of their other dual matches and tournaments have been on the road in the early portion of the schedule.

Coach Joe Burch is excited for his guys to strut their stuff in front of the home crowd tonight.

“I’m hoping that we have a really good home crowd. It’ll be nice for the guys to wrestle in front of their families and their peers, and it’ll be nice to wrestle in our home gym.”

Tonight’s match between the Little Dutch and Norwalk starts at 6:30 at Pella High School.
