After the 2015/16 season, Brady Elder and Mac Harken were looked to be the incoming senior leaders of the team, and it has mostly worked out that way.

The problem has been getting them both out on the court at the same time, as the injury bug has bitten the Trojans this season. Harken wasn’t expected to play due to a shoulder injury suffered in the football season, but the senior decided to play through pain and get back on the court. As Harken slowly got back into the rotation, and the Trojans were coming off the holiday break looking to finally field a full roster, Elder went down with appendicitis and was not allowed to play Tuesday night against Central Decatur. The Trojans are 3-3 on the season, and next play Friday night at Nodaway Valley.
